The end of the year asks a lot of your team: deadlines, budget resets, and a busy season outside of work too. A holiday or year-end appreciation event is a simple, visible way to thank employees during a demanding stretch. And if you still have wellness dollars to put to use before the year closes, it is one of the easiest places to put them.
Body Techniques brings licensed massage therapists and wellness instructors to your workplace, across the US and Canada. We handle the scheduling, setup and staffing, so your HR team can focus on your people instead of the logistics.
Dates Still Available This Season
We book holiday and year-end events right up to the new year. December dates fill first, so here is where we have the most availability right now. Don’t see your date or city? Reach out. We can often make it work.

What a Body Techniques Appreciation Event Includes
- Onsite chair massage. Sessions of 10, 15 or 20 minutes (15 is the most popular). Therapists bring professional massage chairs and all equipment and are ready in 5 to 10 minutes.
- More ways to say thank you. Add table massage, corporate yoga, guided meditation, fitness classes or acupuncture, or mix several into one event.
- Options for remote and hybrid employees. Virtual wellness sessions let off-site team members join the celebration.
- Easy employee sign-up. Online booking in advance, paper sign-up sheets or first-come, first-served onsite, whichever suits your team.
- Help promoting it. We share materials and templates for announcing the event internally, so more employees sign up.
- Licensed, insured professionals. Every therapist is licensed and insured where they practice.
- A dedicated account manager who coordinates the details with you ahead of time.
What you provide: about 7 by 7 feet of space per therapist, plus a small table and a trash can. Chair massage does not need a private room; conference rooms, open office areas, event spaces and break rooms all work.
How Far Ahead to Book
We recommend booking at least two weeks before your event. That leaves time to confirm therapists, open employee sign-ups and get the word out internally. December is the busiest month of the year for appreciation events, so the earlier you reach out, the more dates you’ll have to choose from.
Planning something sooner? Contact us anyway. We take holiday bookings right up to the new year.
A simple planning timeline
- Four or more weeks out: choose your date, locations and services, and confirm your budget.
- Two weeks out: confirm the booking, open employee sign-ups and send the announcement.
- Event week: send a reminder and confirm the space at each site.
- After the event: share photos and a thank-you note with your team, and review participation with us.
How Pricing Works
Appreciation events are priced by total service hours rather than per employee, which keeps sessions unhurried and wait times short. As a benchmark, about 10 hours of service runs around $1,090 and delivers roughly 40 fifteen-minute sessions (outside California).
Your quote depends on:
- Session length (10, 15 or 20 minutes)
- The number of sessions you want to offer
- How many therapists and locations are involved
Each therapist has a three-hour minimum. For a one-time event, we suggest planning for about 80% of your team to take part, so you avoid unused time slots and put your budget where it’s used. For more detail, see Mobile Massage for Corporate Events: What It Costs and What to Expect.
Booking Events Across Several Locations
If your team works across several offices or sites, you shouldn’t have to manage a different vendor in every city. With Body Techniques you get:
- One point of contact for every location
- Coordinated regional event days or a company-wide wellness week, so every office is thanked in the same season
- The same service standards at every site, from therapist training to setup
- Vendor setup done once. Many clients complete vendor requirements and pre-screening with us in advance, so we’re ready whenever an event is needed.

What You Can Report After the Event
Appreciation budgets get reviewed, and you should be able to show what yours delivered.
After each event, our team gathers the participation details that matter most to your program and shares them with you, so you can report back to leadership and plan your next event with real data.
Put Your Remaining Wellness Budget to Work
If your wellness or engagement budget has dollars left at year-end, an appreciation event is something you can still deliver before the year closes, with no long-term commitment. Many HR teams also use their holiday event as a starting point for next year: once employees have experienced it, it’s easier to build a quarterly program everyone looks forward to.
